I am writing because of my interest in working for Williamsburg Learning as a Remote Online

High School Math Instructor. I possess two math degrees, including an applied mathematics
degree from Southern New Hampshire University as well as seven years experience teaching
various levels of math (from middle to high school) in blended classrooms. Some of the courses I
have taught include but are not limited to:
● Honors Geometry
● A.P. Calculus
● A.P. Statistics

I am very passionate about math and believe learning should be exciting. As such, I have written
curriculums that focus on learning through fun. By enlisting the use of such programs as IXL and
Prodigy to help students make a connection between gaming and learning, my students have
improved their standardised test scores by an average of 15% year over year. I have mastered
teaching in differentiated classrooms (online as well) which allowed me to write individualized
lesson plans that target specific needs of each student without taking away from the overall
lesson. Because of my experience teaching foundational math concepts, I can recognize areas of
need and target lessons that will help to bolster the lacking information. I specialize in taking
complicated concepts and making them relatable with the students which in turn allows the
students to internalize the concepts more readily.
I bring a different perspective to the classroom that will help me to inspire the students to
