The First Amendment Statement

The First Amendment States that Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of
religion, or prohibiting the free exercise of freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the
people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances
(congress.gov). The freedom of speech of the press is used in journalism to make sure that
journalists' expressions are protected under the law. I have used the First Amendment as a
student by using recorded interviews and public information to publish video and audio content.
I plan to use the First Amendment in my career by always being able to express myself in my
appearance and in my craft.
