Service mode/Notes

4.3 Service mode

4.3.1 Notes on the service mode
When selecting the service mode, the data can be interro-
gated. To avoid any accidental change of memory contents
in the MEM operating mode, switch S2 on circuit board D35
must be changed over for write, LED V3 lights up.

In this mode, unit movements are impossible since the

safety contactor is de-energized.
To restore the unit function, escape from service mode is
necessary.
This is possible via the pocket terminal (see chapter
4.3.2) or through OFF/ON of switch s100.
All entries into the PT are deleted when the system is
turned off. However, transcribed contents of the addres-
ses called up are transferred.
It is impossible to select service mode for the basic unit
and spotfilm device processor simultaneously.
Service mode can be selected only after the processor has
finished its initialization phase.
