1. Manual Information

The purpose of this manual is to provide information on the operation and usage instructions of the Ethernet
Interface for the POSBANK Printers.

2. Specifications

- TCP, UDP, ICMP, IPv4, ARP, IGMP

- 10 Base-T / 100 Base-TX Ethernet PHY Embedded

- Support Auto-Negotiation (Full & Half Duplex, 10 & 100 Based)

- Un-attackable hardware network engine for preventing network attacks such as flooding, spoofing injection

3. Web Server

3-1 Static IP interface set up

1) Execute Internet Browser

2) Enter IP address of the printer at Address of Internet Browser and click go.

[Note]

 If you are not aware of IP address, check IP address by pushing FEED Button.

 Ask Network administrator IP Address and its related information.

3) When Configuration Windows appears, enter new Network Setting.

[Note]

 If you are not aware of Subnet Mask, refer to the below,

 When the IP address is

① 1~126.xxx.xxx.xxx: Subnet Mask: 255.0.0.0

② 128.191.xxx.xxx.xxx: Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0

③ 192~253.xxx.xxx.xxx: Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

 For example, when the IP address is 192.168.10.10,

 Subnet mask is 255.255.255.0

 If you are not aware of Gateway

① When the Network is connected to Internet (Router or Server computer), Refer to the Network
setting of other computers on the Network.

② When the Network is connected to Internet (Router or Server computer), Enter 0,0,0,0 for
Gateway.

4) Enter value of Local Port.

5) Set Inactivity Time

[Note]

 Inactivity time은 Host(PC)가 프린터의 TCP port에 연결을 하였을 때 Inactivity time동안
데이터 전송이 없으면 프린터가 강제로 연결을 종료하는 기능입니다. 여러 Host에서 하나의

 프린터를 사용할 경우 이 기능을 사용할 것을 권장합니다.

(한 Host에서 연결을 끊지 않고 유지할 경우 다른 Host는 프린터 사용에 제한이 있을 수 있습

니다.)

 Default value is 0. Choose from 0 to 32767(0x7fff). (최대 9시간 6분 7초)

When you set Inactivity time, Ethernet interface will disconnect by force after designated time.

When you set 0, Forced disconnection function is not available.

6) When setting finishes, click Apply.

3-2. DHCP interface setup

1) Check at DHCP mode and click Apply.

2) Push the FEED Button on the interface 10 or more seconds from finishing setup up.

Enter given IP address at address of Internet Browser to enter web server.
