I’ve had the pleasure of working with Ms. Moore at University of Chicago Woodlawn Charter
High School since July 2020. Throughout our employment together, I’ve continually observed
her passion behind the work she does for our students. Her first priority has always been
ensuring student success, and her ability to assess, plan and intervene for our students is
exceptional.

Ms. Moore and I worked extensively leading our summer program “Freshman Scholar
Institute”, which focused on transitioning incoming freshman students into the high school
culture. It was within such where we collaborated around building lessons to communicate the
schools requirements, goals, and expectations. Ms. Moore guidance, support, and
communication was valued to make the summer program exceptional for our students and
families. I've also had the opportunity observe Ms. Moore operate as the 9th grade level team
lead. Her knowledge around reflecting on students needs, based on data, continually pushed
the team to focus on areas of improvement within our work.

On the job, it is not uncommon to see Ms. Moore go above and beyond the line of duty
to create opportunities for students. Ms. Moore is an exceptional teacher and leader, that I
recommend to join your team.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching Ms. Moore grow, learn, and nurture each individual
student so they can succeed here at University of Chicago Woodlawn Charter High School. Our
students’ success is a clear indication of Ms. Moore's success as a dynamic educator. I am
