The contractor is liable to obtain from the Engineer and the Client, approval of all the proposed designs, materials, as well as the subcontractors and suppliers he proposes to use on the Project. The result of this review does not allow the contractor to proceed without
getting all of the requisite approvals. This is a mandatory contractual requirement. For clarity FAST has the obligation before any construction proceeds to:- Get the approval of the design from the Engineer.- Get the approval of the proposed material from the Engineer.- Closed
Get the approval of the supplier from the Engineer.- Get the approval of the Sub Contractor from the Engineer. The contractor is only authorized to proceed when he has completed all of the above steps.
