I, KENT T. PRINSEPE, of legal age, Filipino Citizen, and resident of #1136, Maceda
Street, Calamagui 2nd, City of Ilagan, Isabela, after having been duly sworn to in accordance
with law do hereby deposed and say:
1. That I am the defendant in the case entitled Nathaniel A. Guifaya vs. Kent A.
Prinsipe docketed as Civil Case No. 12345 and pending before the Regional Trial Court;
2. That on March 15, 2021, I received a copy of the Summons relative to the above
entitled case;
3. That on March 12, 2021, plaintiff went to our house and informed me that he will
no longer continue with the prosecution of the case, and just ignore the complaint that I will
receive, and not attend any hearing of the said case;
4. That through the representation of the plaintiff, I did not file any answer anymore,
and just ignored the notices I received, only to be surprised that I was declared in default upon
receipt of the Order of the Court.
5. That the said plaintiff is guilty of fraud and prevented me from defending myself in
the above-entitled case, and to submit the appropriate pleadings and evidence;
6. That I have a good and meritorious defense against the plaintiff, and have already
paid all my obligations to him;
7. That I am executing this affidavit to attest to the truth of the foregoing statements,
and for the whatever legal it may serve.
