Book Review Template

A book review should be interesting to read and should reflect your reaction to the
book. Be sure and set the stage for the reader. Give just enough background so they
understand when and where the story takes place, and set up the main characters with a little
description about who they are. Never give away the ending! It’s always good to leave your
readers curious!

clanged shut and locked his family underground.”)

Just a little bit about the plot: (Give a little background and explain the setting and characters
and what they are facing)

Tell what you liked about the book: (or didn’t like)

Your recommendation: (Tell who you think would enjoy this book. You can compare it to
similar books you have read if it reminds you of another one)
