A: In flat 2 the woman’s painting the wall.

B: No, in flat 2 she’s reading.

A: In flat 3 the boy’s playing the violin.

B: No, in flat 3 he’s playing the piano.

A: In flat 4 the couple are watching TV.

B: No, in flat 4 they’re listening to the radio.

A: The same pictures are in flat 1, but the different pictures are in flats 6–8 because the people
are doing different activities.

In flat 5-8 (Student B)

B: In flat 5 the couple are arguing.

A: Yes, in flat 5 they’re arguing.

B: In flat 6 the man’s doing housework.

A: No, in flat 6 he’s cooking.

B: In flat 7 the boy’s doing his homework.

A: No, in flat 7 he’s listening to music.

B: In flat 8 the baby’s sleeping.

A: No, in flat 8 the baby’s crying.

B: The garden on the right: Some people are having a party.

A: No, in the garden on the right is empty.

B: In flats 5- 8 are 3 (6-8) flats different. Because the activities are different. And a flat 5 is
same, because the people do the same activity.

B: Mine, too.

A: Oh, the gardens on the right and left are different too.

B: Oh, right. Thank you.
