1. Argentinean Professor in China

I’m a university professor from Argentina. I live in China and work for a Chinese public
university. I teach students from different countries, but there are more Chinese
students, than foreigners. It’s an exciting, but difficult job. We develop different
projects and look for new solutions to old problems. Chinese students are responsible
and serious. They respect teachers a lot. Sometimes, they make questions, but
usually they prefer to listen to their professors. Their traditions and costumes are very
different from American culture. My Peruvian colleague Jorge Diaz also works for this
university, but he is a researcher, he investigates and writes scientific articles. He
also assists the students for their thesis work.

I miss Argentina and my family, but what I miss the most, it is Argentinian food.
