4. Farmer from Yucatan

My friend Jose is from Mexico. He is a farmer in Yucatan. He is 30 years old and he is

married with two beautiful daughters. He is a maize farmer and also grows beans.
The summer in Mexico is very hot and very humid, and this is good for maize and
beans. His wife Teresa makes tortillas from the maize and their children love tortillas
with beans, because both are their traditional dishes. Other people in the village
respect Jose because he is an honest person, very responsible with his family. His job
is very hard, but he loves it, because it gives them resources for living.
