Recruitment of Personnel on purely contractual basis for implementation of National Clean Air
Programme (NCAP) in West Bengal

West Bengal Pollution Control Board (WBPCB) is a State Regulatory Authority under Department
of Environment, Government of West Bengal.

Applications are invited from the eligible and suitable Indian Nationals on purely contractual basis
under National Clean Air Programme (NCAP) in West Bengal initially for a period upto one year
and may be extended upto five years on case-to-case basis depending upon the performance as per
requirements. The candidates will have no right to claim any regular appointment.

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

1. Senior Project Master’s degree in Environmental Good experience in MS

Remuneration of Posts:

1. Senior Project Associate Rs. 42,000/- + HRA per month.

2. Project Associate Rs. 35,000/- + HRA per month.

General Instruction, Essential Information and Clarification:

1. The candidates must be a citizen of India.

2. There is no Application Fee.
3. The Candidates must carry photo identity proof, age proof and original copies along with
one set of self attested photocopies of all the educational testimonials including experience
certificate(s), if any, at the time of interview.
4. The WBPCB reserves the right to post the selected candidates any City/Town within the
State of West Bengal.
5. The WBPCB reserves the right to accept or cancel any application for any reasons
whatsoever.
6. No TA/DA and accommodation shall be provided for attending interview.
7. Error or omission in notification and selection process are subject to corrections as per rules.
8. The engagement may be terminated/extended without showing any reason whatsoever.
9. In case of termination/resignation, one month notice for either side will be required. One
month’s consolidated pay to be deposited /paid in lieu of notice.

10. During period of engagement in this Board, the candidate will not accept any employment
or engagement in any other work, business or occupation. He/she will not pursue any study
course without approval of the competent authority of the Board.
11. Database generated during the tenure of engagement will be the exclusive property of the
Board. He/she cannot be published or divert without the permission of the competent
authority of the Board.
