Asking to submit a logo for Canon City Downtown Area Development Commission.

Dear artists of Canon City,

This is Adam, an intern of Canon City Downtown Area Development Commission. We
are holding a contest to find a logo to raise community sprit. There are some
declaration for the participants of this competition. You need to keep in mind that-
 Only the resident of Canon City can participate this competition.
 Participants photo and name will be used for publicity purpose.
 The winning artist will receive $2500 and a year of free advertising in
commission’s newsletter and website.
In submitting the photo the artist need to maintain some command otherwise they
will be disqualified from the contest. The commands those need to maintain are –
 Participants need to submit their logo in .jpg format.
 They need to have the proof of local resident ship.
 The legal agreement relinquishing rights to profit from their work.
 They can sent their logo by email or in the DVD format. (But if DVD format
got damaged it will not be their fault.)

We will be looking forward to a mass competition.

Explanation of the vacation request policy and process

Dear employees of ABC Company Ltd,

This is James, as the assist of operations manager, I want to
explain the vacation request policy and process of this company
during summer. I came to know from some of my supervisors
that the employees are facing some trouble in leave issues of
summer season. So, I think this problem should be resolved.
Summer season is quite an uncomfortable time for our
company. So, we maintain some regulations related to the leave
issue of summer season. They are-
 Employees must fill a form in online which they will find
in companies official web portal.
 In the first two week of June, last week of July and the
first week of August when company usually does not
provide any leave unless urgent or miss-happening
reasons.
 Employees must let the company know at least a week
before leaving. (Employees of whose request of leaving
the institution receives first will get the more chances of
acceptances.)
These policies of company must be followed by each employees
if they need vacation during summer period. The company hope
that the employees will understand the scenario and will think
about the leave they are thinking off.

But unfortunately you have sent an extra display case to me which I
have not ordered you. As the display cases are large its shipping process
would be time consuming and expensive. So, I would request you to
send someone to pick up the extra display case from me as soon as
possible.
