❑ Mask Management

When the school year 2021-2022 begins, SCCPSS fully expects the wearing of masks to be
optional for staff and students. The Public Health State of Emergency no longer provides a
basis for the requirement. As COVID transmission rates decline and vaccinations continue to
have a positive impact, pandemic restrictions will slowly ease. SCCPSS will continue to review
public health conditions and take guidance from public health officials to make decisions in the
best interest of safety.
