Example of Lesson planning

Content standards : The learner demonstrate understanding of pre-colonial Philippine literature as a


mean of connecting to the past , various reading styles, ways of determining word meaning, the sounds
of English and the prosodic features of speech, and correct subject verb-agreement.

Performance Content: The learner transfer learning by showing appreciation for the literature of the
past, comprehending texts using appropriate context-dependent expressions, producing English sound
correctly and using the prosodic feature of speech effectively in various situations and observing correct
subject verb-agreement.

I. Objective: At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:
a.  identify the questions using the 5W’s and 1H
b. formulate Who, What, When , Where, Why and how question

c. Conduct a simple interview and make point form notes to record the results.

Good morning class, before we begin our new


topic, let us have a quick and short activity. I will
group you into 2, and from the given sentences I
want you to determine what is the subject and
predicate. I will give you 2 minutes to answer. The
first group to finish will be declared as a winner.

What are the two parts of a sentence? The two parts of a sentence are the subject and
predicate.

What is the difference between the The difference between the two is that subject

minutes to finish the task.
