Enhanced Domestic Meter


The enhanced range of the successful A100 series
single phase meter from Elster provides a cost-
effective solution for one or two rate domestic
metering applications. The new meter features an
improved customer specific, multi-lingual display
with increased character size for ease of viewing.
The A100 offers the advantages of leading edge
electronic metering technology, enabling Class 1 or
Class 2 accuracy, anti-tamper security features and
security data as standard.
The liquid crystal display provides large (7.5mm),
high contrast characters that can be viewed from a
wide angle. Chevrons identify the values being
displayed. The register values can be set at
manufacture for the number of digits and the
position of the decimal point.
Communications is provided via an IrDA port
allowing the meter registers and security data to be
read electronically using a hand-held device,
