COMPANY AND SYSTEM PROFILE

WOLFGANG'S STEAKHOUSE is one of the best steakhouses not

just in the Philippines but in other countries as well.

Their menu has something to please every palate with their

famous mouth-watering steaks, and other excellent entree

selections including lamb, sashimi-grade tuna, fresh

Norwegian salmon, Maine lobsters, and more.

Wolfgang’s Steakhouse was started by a veritable icon with

over four decades of experience in the industry, has become

a legend himself, with twenty-one successful steakhouses in

the world bearing his name.


Wolfgang’s Steakhouse uses one of the well-known reservation

systems, the OpenTable.

OpenTable powers reservations for the hospitality industry.

Founded in 1998, and been powering dining experiences for

more than 20 years. Chuck Templeton started OpenTable in San

Francisco in 1998, after getting frustrated by the need to

call multiple restaurants to find the right place to go to

dinner with his in-laws. Since then, OpenTable has become

the world’s leading provider of online restaurant

reservations with over 54,000 restaurants across 20

countries. OpenTable’s workforce has grown to 1200 employees

in 10 offices around the globe, and has a passion for

hospitality and helping restaurants grow their business with

many of our employees who have worked in the service

industry.

OpenTable continues to focus on leveraging data to provide

personalized restaurant recommendations. With over 2 billion

seated diners since 1998, it has a wealth of data that

leverage to help diners find the right restaurant every

time.
OBJECTIIVES

The overall aim of this project is to design and implement

an online restaurant reservation system that would enable

diners to order food and also reserve tables at restaurants

to optimize food ordering and table reservation.

CURRENT STATE

The company is in a good state and Dine-in services for all

Philippine locations have already resumed. In compliance

with government regulations, dine-in capacity will only be

at 10% and 30% capacity for outdoor dine-in until further

notice.

Pick-up and delivery options are still available. Nothing

has been changed. Customers can place their orders through

their delivery websites or via phone reservations.
