Facebook as we all know is a popular free social networking website which has resulted in a
number of successful changes that has made the website more attractive, user friendly and can be
operated along with being secure. Some reasons as to why Facebook is motivated to share so
much data about its users with other companies as well as creating ways for users to login into
other websites with their Facebook username and password include:

 Top-notch Security
A user’s email and password for their accounts are secured through a very high level of
security levels hence it becomes nearly impossible for hackers to open an account not
owned by them. Also, a notification message is sent if someone tries to open the account
from another location than not specified by the owner therefore, users know that their
data is safe and secured.

 Sharing Options:
Facebook gives users the opportunity to share photos, videos, status, feeling, location and
many more. Therefore, so many options culminated in one single web page gives people an
easy way of sharing information.

 No Competition
Since the time Facebook was launched, it has not faced any sort of competition in the market.
A few similar sites have been initiated however none has been able to mark a place in the
network world. Therefore, people are left with only a few options of which Facebook is the
best for sure.

5). Songkick uses the information it obtains from Facebook by sending out a number of
notifications online as this will alert its customers on the upcoming events, they may not be
aware of as this provides a faster way of its customers being notified rather then sending
information to its customers located in different geographic areas as this will be time consuming.
