memahami suatu teks bacaan?
For example :

I will explain how the importance of previewing and predicting can be something that make us faster in
understanding the contents of the reading.
I have attached a text image,
First, I will do the predicting. What I am going to look at is :
1. Title  Natural environment
2. Picture & Caption bellow picture  there is 2 picture. First picture is a waterfall with a caption
‘Hopetoun Falls, Australia’ and second picture is desert as seen from satellite with a caption ‘It is the
world's largest hot desert and third-largest desert after the polar deserts.’
3. I will see a table of contents

Next, I will do the predicting.

I will take it from the table of contents,

The title is ‘Water on Earth’

what can I predicting is maybe this article will be explain about how many water in the world?, why
water so important for living things?, etc
that’s just predicting. If this not, it’s okay. But I already prepare for understanding the text.
So predicting and previewing is help me to quickly understanding what’s text about. Reading with a
strategy like this is very effective.
