Abstract

The proposed workshop shall address following topics:

Electromagne cs:
Join this session to get an introduc on to the capabili es of the COMSOL so ware for modeling electromagne cs applica ons in different
frequency ranges. Workshop will give an overview of modeling low-frequency EM applica ons such as electric and magne c fields in electric
machines, as well as capaci ve, resis ve, and induc ve devices. In addi on, workshop will also introduce you to high-frequency EM
simula ons, including photonics, microwave and RF devices, and ray tracing of op cal systems. Workshop will also address the coupling of
electromagne cs simula ons to other physics, such as heat transfer and structural mechanics, to model induc on hea ng, RF hea ng,
structural-thermal-op cal performance (STOP) analysis and stress op cal effects.

Structural Mechanics and Acous cs:

Learn how to model the mechanical behaviour of solid structures using the Structural Mechanics Module. Workshop will cover a range of
material models linear and nonlinear loading and support condi ons. Linking between solids, shells, plates and beams. In addi on,
workshop enables us, how to model problems involving mul body dynamics and rotor dynamics. Workshop will also discuss how the
Acous cs module can be used for acous cs and vibra on analyses. Workshop will present interac ve examples including transducers,
speakers, microphones, SAW filters, smartphones, acous c sensors and more. In addi on, discussion on how to couple structural
mechanics and acous cs with each other as well as with other physics.
