you can choose all available alarms.

Remember to save the changes.

16 / 43
DEVICE PASSWORD UPDATE:

In this menu it is possible to upgrade fixed password for remote device configuration. Each device has its own password, which by default is
4096. Changing password here without changing it in the device, will not allow for further modification parameters. Remember always to
make sure device password is the same as this saved here.

17 / 43
ADVANCED MODIFICATION

Advanced modification is well known Device Parameters table in raw format – no explanations, only raw values. If you are not sure how to
use this table do not make any changes here. Unauthorized or incorrect configuration can cause device failure.

Modification is done by clicking icon. In next window you will be asked to put username

This menu allows for device replacement with keeping continuity of the data. Just choose the device which will replace currently installed and
confirm it.

Always have device with exactly the same hardware configuration if you want to make a replacement. Device with different
configuration, for example old has V1 and V2 counters, new will have V1 and P1 – old data from V2 will be missing and unable to
recover.

19 / 43
SUMMARY – CONFIGURED DEVICE VIEW, MAP

After successful configuration of all the parameters presented earlier, your device console should look like this:

Updated names of Measuring Points, turned off unused, description filled, address present.

20 / 43
Now, if you click on the address here, you will see the device location on the map

21 / 43
MEASURING POINTS

Measuring points comparing to old eWebtel are changed, they meaning is different.

Measuring point in new definition is input in the device, which is able to count any recognizable quantity – volume or pressure. In example
of MacR6 N it is explained how measuring points are created.

Each measuring point can be switched off by eWebtel (refusing data from this point, device still will be sending data collected by this input),
by the application in device configuration.

Each measuring point works as a standalone device, with its own registered data with possibility to generate daily or monthly reports in
various file formats.

22 / 43
ICONS DESCRIPTION:

Go to daily reports generation menu Go to registered data table

Go to month reports generation menu Add measuring point to group

Measuring point has also list of the alarm related only to this site. User will not see here any events like battery replacement or inputs change.
Here will be presented only events related to this site, for example if it is volume site, so here will be presented leakages and thresholds
exceedings.

23 / 43
REPORTS GENERATION:

To generate the reports please choose proper icon from the top. You will be redirected to the window where system will ask the day or month
to generate the report. Choose required extension for the report by clicking on proper icon on the top.

Export to PDF – clean report with chart ready to print

Export to CSV – report ready to import into SCADA system.

Syntax: water meter SN;date;counter – separate by semicolons

Export to Excel file – simple table ready for further adjustments

24 / 43
REGISTERED DATA VIEW:

This view enables full review of registered data in current measuring point. It is possible to review data from the beginning of installation –
full log of the device work. Registered data can be exported to a file keeping rules from previous reports. Here User is able to check if the
data are delivered by device in a continuous way.

25 / 43
GROUPS

eWebtel allows for creating Groups of Measuring Points and Areas.

Group is the gathering of devices or points, which will be provided for Guest. Guest is special account type which has only access to measuring
points review. Group also allows for adding charts from each included measuring point to make an overall comparison.

Creating a group is done through ADMINISTRATION menu and highlighted button

Use the proper icon on the right side to create the Group.

26 / 43
27 / 43
In the new window you can choose which element
you want to add to the group – it should be Area or
Measuring point and search for even part of the
device SN to trace it faster – especially useful when
list of devices is long.

Let’s see the results:

Now we can choose each device by ticking and using the button ADD
TO GROUP on the bottom move the sites to the group.

28 / 43
Remember to save data when all desired measuring points are added.

29 / 43
From now on created group is visible in ADMINISTRATION > GROUPS menu on the list.

From this menu it is possible to edit or delete the group, and also review the group chart.

30 / 43
AREAS

Areas functionality is made for balancing water distribution network, to have summary water consumption from some area, or have
summarized flow from two measuring points – for example compound water meter.

• Balancing water distribution network: distinguished supplying and receiving points. Overall report must be equal to 0. Any disturbance
from 0 tells about water leakages, or faulty meters.
• Summary water consumption: all points set to receiving. As an output you will get total consumption i.e. from one district, house,
shop.
• Compound water meter: two point from one meter point to receiving. As an output you will get the value from compound water meter.

Creating an Area is done through ADMINISTRATION menu and highlighted button:

31 / 43
Adding devices to Area is very similar to the one explained in Groups. Difference is in distinguishing the measuring point to be receiving or
supplying.

Remember to save the changes.

32 / 43
When added, system will redirect you to Areas list, where the one just created will be visible.

By clicking on the name of the Area we can go to its summary, where it is possible to check brief chart of balance, edit the Area, generate
monthly reports from the area or add it to Group.

33 / 43
34 / 43
Going to menu MAP from Dashboard and clicking into icon zooms the map into the Area exact location.

35 / 43
MAP VIEW

Map allows for quick navigation through the devices and monitoring the areas. View is designed to have visualized areas, quickly find the
location of the devices and react faster if there is need to visit sites for alarm situation or to make scheduled inspection.

ICONS DESCRIPTION:

Search bar – writing here part of serial number will zoom only to devices which SN includes this
string
Show only inactive devices – last report was later than 10
Show only devices with active alarms
days ago

Show only active devices Show areas

Overall map view:

36 / 43
Circles with “1” digit inside are single devices. Clicking into this circle will show device data – active
measuring points. From this short tip we can go directly to Device Administration Card or to the
measuring points menu.

Circles with any other digit are gathered devices spread in this area in amount from circle. Clicking on
the circle will zoom into the area where single devices are available to display. When amount in circle is
less than 30 system will not be zooming more but show list of all devices hidden within this area.

Circles colours:

Device works properly – no active alarms

Device inactive – last report from more than 10 days ago

At least one device gathered in this area has opened alarms

37 / 43
WORK ON BEHALF OF COMPANY

One user can have access to multiple Companies – working on behalf of Company.

It is urgent from Distributor point of view to have access to all the Companies it supplies, or one great supplier who wants to supervise over
his small Companies or Customers.

This functionality is available only by system Administrator. When using eWebtel installed on PLUM sever role of Administrator is one of the
dedicated Technical or Sales Consultant.

Then logging in to the system you will see the Companies list you have access to and you can choose to which Company you log in this
moment.

When logged in and want to switch the Company click on the Company name on the
top bar.

Advantage of this solution is User does not need to have multiple accounts for many Companies. One account serves as multi-company
platform for easy access.

38 / 43
GUEST ACCOUNT FUNCTIONALITY

Guest account functionality has been designed for single Customer who needs only to see data from his own meter; at home, at the room he
is working on and is responsible for all the media inside the area – including water.

Guest user is allowed to see GROUPS. Creating groups is described in the GROUPS paragraph in earlier section of this document.

Let’s use previously created Group for the purpose of GROUPS section.

39 / 43
Go to the menu ADMINISTRATION and choose button:

Then, by choosing option REGISTER NEW USER go to account creator. Type e-mail address and tick option in Guest field.

40 / 43
Below will be shown groups configuration panel, where every group created
inside the Company are present. We see group DEVICES AT HOME. Procedure
is similar to adding devices into Group or into the Area. Tick the group and click
Associate with the user button. Chosen group will move to the window on the
right.

Remember to save the data using button on the top.

In the picture there is presented view of Guest account in eWebtel.

It is basic view only to Measuring points (not Device Administration Card) and generating reports from the visible points.
