In this chapter I learned about several terms for the first time.

I learned about what future worth,

payback period, sensitivity analysis, breakeven charts, and how they play into stage construction. The
section that stuck out to me the most was the section about stage construction for when a facility or
some type of construction needs to be made, however that object that is being created has the
opportunity to expand in the future requiring a larger capacity. This brings up the situation where the
options are to either create the original project, but with plans to upgrade it in the future or to just
make the future planned project outright.
