    CUBAN POLITICAL PRISONER, UNPACU MEMBER,


    ALBERTO VALLE PÉREZ RELEASED FROM PRISON AFTER
    SERVING 5 YEARS

    Alexandria, Virginia – The Global Liberty Alliance is pleased to announce the release
    of Cuban political prisoner Alberto Valle Pérez who was discharged on Tuesday, June 1,
    after completing his sentence of nearly 5 years. Mr. Pérez was detained in 2016 after
    participation in public protests in Havana.

    GLA would like to thank our legal defense network for their work in making the
    release possible. Further information on the details surrounding this case will be published
    shortly.
