MESSAGE FROM THE ORGANIZERS
The IABSE Korean Group is excited to invite you to the IABSE Conference Seoul 2020 which will be held from
November 9-10 in Seoul, Korea. The goal of this conference is to offer top practitioners and academics in the
region and the world a forum for meaningful discussions on recent and future developments and applications in
the areas of risk analysis and data intelligence for bridges and infrastructures.
The following two main topics will be discussed in single-track sessions over two days. Each session will be
opened by a keynote lecture, which will be followed by presentations by experts in the related fields. Before the
closing ceremony, a special session will be provided to wrap up the presentations and discussions. This new
format is expected to facilitate problem-oriented, in-depth discussions between field practitioners and
academic researchers and synergy between areas of expertise.

Conference Venue: Hoam Faculty House, Seoul National University(SNU), Seoul, Korea
- Accommodations are available at the conference venue, Hoam Faculty House. Participants can
enjoy the relaxed atmosphere with a view of the Gwanak Mountain.
- Direct limousine bus services between Incheon Airport and Hoam Faculty House (duration:
about 1.5 hrs) are available with around 30 minute intervals.
