INFORMATION ON DEADLINES AND DOCUMENTS REQUIREMENTS 2021/22

If you are planning to apply to an educational institution during the period 2021/2022 through
Budhanilkantha School with the help of the Guidance Counselor, please note the following deadlines and
other information.
 The deadline for submitting the COLLEGE PLANNING PACKET (CPP) online is by 3:00 PM on
Sunday, 1 August 2021. (Please download the form from email attachment).
 The deadline for submitting all the materials to GC for ED I (Early Decision I or for any application
having deadline before Jan 1, 2022) is Sunday, 15 August 2021.
 The deadline for submitting all the materials to GC for ED II/EA (Early Action)/Rolling is also on
Wednesday, 25 August 2020.
You must hand in the following documents to me in a clear bag:
1. College List: Names of Colleges/Universities including ED I & II
2. College Specific Forms/College Supplement Forms (If required by the college).
3. ED Agreement(s) signed and dated by you and your parent(s).
4. Original (scanned) copies or attested copies of-
a. High School Transcript (HST) as available by that date.
b. A Level Results (Cambridge International Examinations General Certificate of Education), if
available.
c. SEE Grade- Sheet.
d. Character Certificate (CC).
e. Standardized Test Scores (TOEFL or SAT I, SAT II or ACT or Others) if available.
5. CV (filled out according to GC Format)
6. Addressed Envelope (One envelop for one College), if you want to send application materials by
courier, and Postal Charge for mailing documents.
7. One copy each of the forms/Documents (No 1 to 5) should be provided to your GC in a clear bag.
8. Other documents you need to submit to GC online are:
a. CPP and CV in MS Word format (Softcopy each) according to the format given by your GC.
b. Properly filled out Counselor Brag Sheet and Parent Brag Sheet
c. A scanned copy of your passport (if available).
(Some universities request Guidance Counselors to nominate a few Top-Ranking Students)
So, if you are interested to get nominated or consider yourselves deserving candidates, you must submit the
following materials in a clear bag to your GC by August 15, 2021:
i. An evidence-based “Statement of Purpose” (SOP) explaining why you consider yourself a
deserving candidate for nomination.
ii. High School Transcript, General Certificate of Education (GCE), if available, and SEE Grade-
sheet along with a scanned copy of your passport.
Note:
1. Documents will be kept in the order of submission and processed in the ‘first come first served’
basis.
2. GC will not be obliged to meet the application deadlines for those candidates who do not meet the
deadlines set above.
3. Remember that you have to meet only your deadline while GC needs to meet deadlines for all the
applicants.
