Is the crane visually in good condition and clean?
Is lifting gear stored correctly and in good condition?
Are the cable, hook, and block in good condition?
Are the pendant and cord in good condition?
Safety Equipment Checks
Is the location of the Disconnect Switch known?
Is the trolley stop in place?
Is the Safe Working Load clearly displayed?
Does the hook safety latch operate properly?
Operational Checks
Hoist up and down working properly?
Trolley left and right working properly?
Bridge forward and reverse working properly?
Are the horizonal stops in place?
Do the upper and lower limit switches work properly?
Do the boom/bridge and trolley roll freely?
Are abnormal noises or vibrations absent?
DANGER IF N IS NOTED FOR ANY CRITERION, THE CRANE MAY NOT BE USED UNTIL MAINTENANCE HAS SIGNED OFF ON THE REPAIR
