About Us

YMV with its experience of more than 55 years in marine in-

dustry; manufactures marine cranes, marine winches, life sav-
ing equipment: Freefall lifeboat davits, rescue boat and liferaft
davits, propulsion system solutions; tunnel thrusters, flap rud-
ders, to its customers in local and international markets.

YMV design team finds out the needings of Client; provides the
optimum solutions according to intended purpose and area of
utilization in the New Shipbuilding and Retrofit projects. YMV
produces equipment suitable for harsh marine conditions.
YMV provides trainings, technical services, spare parts and af-
ter sales continuous Support with Worldwide Service Stations.

YMV products are tested, approved and certificated by TL, BV,

RINA, DNV GL, ABS , RMRS, PRS according to customer demand.
YMV gives after-sales services, spare parts support in order to

Anchor Mooring Winch

ANCHOR WINDLASS

Anchor windlass winches have pull capacity is from 1 to 50 t,

are suitable for chain diameter between 12- 81mm. YMV can
manufacture tailor made winches with single or double or split
type drum according to customer request. Manual operated
band brake and clutch are available. YMV offers a choice of two
drive systems namely high pressure hydraulic or electric motor
driven. Remote control or local control by the side of the equip-
ment can be selected according to operational requirements.

MOORING WINCH

4/8/16 POINT MOORING SYSTEMS

YMV manufactures a wide range of mooring winches for all types of
vessels. Tension control and auto tensioning modes are available.
Mooring capacity of 1 ton upto 30 tonnes. Control of multiple mooring
winch systems from one main control system is an advantage for these
special operations. Class certificates from different survey authorities
are available.

Vertical Windlass
Capstan
YMV offers wide range of anchor windlass
winches for all types and tonnages of ves-
sels. When the space is limited capstans are
widely preferred due to dimensions. Vertical
windlass and capstans with pull capacity of 1
tonnes upto 50 tonnes, are suitable for chain
size between 12-81 mm. Hydraulic or electric
drive alternatives are available.

Motor group can be mounted under deck

according to ship designers prefference. YMV
offers a choice of two drive systems namely
high pressure hydraulic or electric motor
drive. Remote control or local control can be
selected according to operational require-
ments.

RESCUE BOAT DAVIT

PROVISON HANDLING WINCH OPTION

YMV rescue boat davits and life raft davits are

available as electric or hydraulic driven types.
Rescue boat davit capacity range is between safe
working load SWL:15- 35 kN. Davit boom outreach
can be designed upto 3-6 Meters according to
operational needings. Slewing of Single arm YMV
Rescue Boat Davit is available upto 355 degree. FREEFALL LIFEBOAT DAVIT
Electric Motor Ingress Protection Rating: IP Grade

YMV Freefall davit system includes of a deck-to-

ship, and consisting of a launch ramp, davit arm,

Active Heave Compensation

SAFE OPERATIONS UNDER EXTREME WEATHER AND SEA CONDITIONS

YMV Winch Active Heave Compensation Mode provides operator; maximum control ability on
load under extreme weather conditions. YMV Active Heave Compensation Winch is designed
to reduce downtimes caused from Sea State conditions and thus operational costs.

LAUNCHING AND RECOVERY SYSTEMS

YMV Launch and Recovery Systems (LARS) A-Frame is the hydraulic

or electric driven system widely used on special purpose research
vessels, supply vessels for oil platforms, oceonographic and deep
sea research vessels.

It is mainly used for safe lifting and lowering of special purpose re-
search and rescue equipment, such as Side Scan Sonar, ROV.

LARS system is composed of main parts: A-Frame Crane, Winch,

Hydraulic Power Unit and Control Unit.

LAUNCHING AND RECOVERY OF SPECIAL SUBSEA INTERVENTION DEVICES

LARS A-Frame provides controlled load lifting and lowering, thus safe posi-
tioning of equipment landing on deck and subsea.

YMV designs and manufactures A-Frame Cranes with 2,5-15 meter span and
1-250 t capacity suitable for customer project. Operation can be performed
by side of the Crane by hydraulic lever or by joysticks on the bridge. Moni-
toring of load/tension, adjusting A-frame position for operation, overload
alarm are optional.

TUNNEL THRUSTER

YMV designs and manufactures tunnel type thrusters for bow or stern applications of
all kinds of ships, tugboats and megayachts.

YMV Tunnel thrusters support the mooring or harbour operations of merchant cargo
vessels. When applied in Dynamic Positioning systems, extends the DP capability of
offshore supply vessels.

CUSTOM DESIGN SHIP LIFT SYSTEMS FOR SHIPYARDS

Ship Lift Winch Systems winch capacity is between 250 and 360 tonnes.
According to customer requirements lifting capacity is between 1.500-6.300
ton including platform. 6-10-12-16-18 units of winch can be operated as syn-
chronized. Lifting with electric motor. Triple brake and Special locking systems
are available.

FLAP RUDDER
HIGHER OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY WITH THE FEATURE OF INCREASING MANEUVERABILITY

With the aid of the movement of flap mounted on the

rudder blade, ship maneuvering capability improves.

The flap and the main rudder are connected with hinge
and link mechanism.

Flap helps to change the effective angle of movement

during operation.

Rudder angle of the main blade is 45°.

Total movement of the blade is available up to 85°.
