WINDOWS VIRTUAL DESKTOP

USER LOGIN INSTRUCTION GUIDE

INTRODUCTION
Welcome to your Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop!

For users that do not have a laptop and need to work remotely, BSC IT can provide a virtual Windows machine
that allows you to access BSC systems from any device with an internet connection. There are multiple
devices on which a virtual desktop can be installed/used:

• Any Windows PC
• iPad
• Android tablet
• Macintosh computers

Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) is like BSC’s VDI setup. The difference is WVD is hosted by Microsoft and
VDI servers are hosted by Boston Scientific.

If you need any support for your Windows Virtual Desktop,

call the eSolution Center (all local numbers are listed on the next page)
