HCRDI China (Project in commissioning phase)
Project Executed (Since 2018 January to 2018 July): Construction of Cement Storage Silo at Lucky
Cement Limited Karachi Plant.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Responsible for making complete budget including Services of Erection/Fabrication and Mechanical
Procurement.
 Responsible for making BOQs and indenting of materials as per requirement.
 Responsible for ensuring fabrication of Silo related equipment like Air slides, Aeration Pads, Steel
Structure.
 Responsible for all erection activities of Silo as per given design parameters.

Project Executed (Since 2016 December to 2018 January): Worked on complete 3100tpd Cement Plant
Project at Karachi, Pakistan by Sinoma China and IKN Germany with the coordination of Chinese and
European Engineers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Responsible area in charge of Pyro-process including Kiln Feed system, Preheater, Rotary Kiln, IKN
Cooler, Baghouse, System Fan, Heat Exchanger, Apron Conveyor till Clinker Storage and
Extraction Conveyors to execute all concerned jobs related to civil construction containing all Pre
Mechanical jobs and further mechanical fabrication, equipment erection and commissioning
activities as per design and standards of cement plant equipment.
 Being an area in charge during erection of Rotary kiln, completed all assigned jobs timely by
implementing inspections as per all design parameters including civil foundations, pre mechanical
jobs and further all related KILN alignments and installations.
 Responsible for executing all fabrication activities of IKN Cooler housings and related parts as per
European design standards given by IKN and complete erection of IKN Cooler and commissioning.
 Ensuring all inspections of Apron conveyor during installation and alignments as per design given by
Beumer.
 Being a Project Mechanical Engineer responsible for supporting the Area Engineering Manager to
monitor and coordinate the design process for all Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC)
Contracts. The work will require close coordination and direct interfacing with construction staff,
supplier’s design & consultant’s team related to civil design by considering all mechanical designs.
 Responsible to look after for all Pre Mechanical Jobs during civil construction phase of project
involving all embedment ,drawings interpretations (comparing civil design to mechanical design) to
making it sure that all civil foundations work is going on according to mechanical plans and
elevations.
 Executing on site construction activities including all fabrication considering proper inspections as
per drawings and standard given by Chinese & Europeans.
 Responsible for all indenting / procurement concerned with project for meeting all requirements of
project.
 Responsible for making all contractual documentation related to all contractors and suppliers
during project by considering cost and budget.
 As a SAP end user, making and maintaining project related updates and executing all procurement
activities to ensure the delivery on time by coordinating with concerned supply chain management.
  Looking after all fabrication activities as per standards given in drawings and by suppliers including
IKN Cooler complete fabrication as per European standards and together with many areas’
fabrication.
 Coordinating in all major activities with in a management during current progress and with all
contractors involving in erection and fabrication activities to deliver the project in time.
 Responsible for making BOQs as per drawings and required fabrication and erection activities.
 Intellectual correspondence with all concerned departments during project related to all areas to
avoid some bottlenecks timely to execute a project according to given timeline.
 Corrective and preventive actions
 Regular inspection to the site, quality & work to witness, review and monitor all activities to ensure
quality work and progress considering timeline.
 Prepares and analyzes comparisons of scope, quantities, and cost data between the projects.
 Obtains vendor information to update the cost data file, and maintains cost data files
 Directs and coordinates engineering activities for the project or assigned portion including
supervision of engineers of all disciplines within a global business unit.
 Reviews and approves design documents, change orders, material requisitions and specifications
for construction or procurement use.
 Resolves field initiated questions on engineering.
 Visits jobsite as required for exchange of information
 Coordinates activities among the design groups on the project.
 Reviews project engineering progress against approved schedules, evaluates changes and takes &
manages the flow of information required from third parties to assure the timely progress of the

Project Executed (Since 2015 April to 2016 December): Worked on Overseas project in
DR CONGO (AFRICA) NYUMBA YA AKIBA CEMENT PLANT 3000 TPD by FLSmidth & subsidiary
company of LUCKY CEMENT LIMITED including planning, scheduling, fabrication, erection & commissioning
of Plant with the coordination of FLSmidth’s Experts.
Project Executed: 3000-ton fabrication of steel structure & its erection at NYA Cement
Project DR, Congo.
Project Executed: FLSmidth Vertical Grinding Mills (02 Nos) each of 180TPH at Lucky Cement Karachi
Plant with FLS expert during erection & commissioning phase.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  Planning & scheduling for DR CONGO 3000 TPD Cement Plant Project on primavera and concern
applications.
 Responsible for all erection activities in concern areas including Raw Mill Feed, ATOX 40 Raw Mill,
Exhaust Gas Conditioning, CF/Blending Silo, 5 Stages Preheater, Cement Mill Feed, OK Mill,
Cement Silos & Cement Transport to Packing Plants.
 Responsible for all inspections during erection of equipment and after installation timely by
following all required standards.
 Responsible for making BOQs of all concern areas including steel structure and equipment.
 Responsible for drawings interpretation and implementation accordingly.
 Responsible for bill verifications and handling all resources including material, tools and men
power.

Project Executed At Jamshoro Power Company Limited 880MW
 Experience of Maintenance & Overhauling along with Operation of Power Plant having
680 ton/hr. capacity each boiler (03) & 210MW (03) condensing turbines.
 Replacement of heating elements of cold & hot sections at both air pre heaters of each boiler
having axial, radial & bypass seals along with clearance setting.
 Replacement of serpentine tubes at economizer
 Replacement of Steam Coil Heaters.
 Replaced Non-return valves at Feed pumps & arranged implementation of ultrasonic testing timely.
 Overhauling at 210MW Condensing Turbine.
 HP & LP Heaters at basement & cleaning of surface condensers.
