is food that our bodies need to consume daily for our bodies to function optimally. This
includes complex carbohydrates, protein, healthy fats, and fiber.

each culture and each person holds some food preferences or some food taboos.

development and ageing, helps to maintain a healthy body weight, and reduces the risk of chronic
disease leading to overall health and well-being.
