Thesis It!

The Novel Guide for Working on your Research Paper

March 2, 2021

Google Meet (Webinar)

REFLECTION

In this seminar, our guest speakers are Engr. Adonis P. Adornado and Engr. John Mark D. Palawal. Both of them have
shown us a guide about writing and publishing scientific papers. I believe that this is a very important topic to discuss
because no matter what field of study I am interested in, I will most likely be asked to write a research paper during my
academic career. Writing a research paper can also be a great opportunity to explore a topic that is particularly interesting to
me. However, I admit that having to write a scientific paper feels intimidating at first. After all, researching and writing a long
paper requires a lot of time, effort, and organization. But knowing how to write a good research paper is a valuable skill that will
serve me well throughout my career so I should be able to handle something like that.

Both of the speakers were able to give us tips and guidelines on the said topic. I learned a lot in this seminar and have
come to this realization. Also, this discussion gave me motivation to work on a research paper someday.
