1. Suppose that you have a sibling who is suffering from a speech disorder. What do you think is
the best setting for him/her: Special Education, Inclusive Education or Mainstreaming?

If I have a sibling who is suffering from a speech disorder, I would likely to have him/her being
under a Special Education. Because it is good for him/her to learn more by considering his/her disorder,
he/she gets the attention and proper teaching that copes up with his/her disorder. By that he/she can learn
much more without worrying his/her speech disorder. I know a special education teacher is someone who
works with children and youths who have a variety of disabilities and they are fully trained on how to handle
students with disability, they are patient, understanding educators dedicated to giving each individual student
the tools and guidance needed to help them maximize success.
I would also want my sibling have him/her being under a Mainstreaming so that he/she can feel what
will be the feeling of having a lot of classmates especially a normal one but I am scared that some students
will bullied her/him because we all know that not all children can’t understand what disabled is. That’s why I
preferred to choose Special Education because I know that setting is the best for her/him.

2. Why is there a need to have policies in creating inclusive culture?

Policies are made for us to have a proper and standard living. So policies are needed for creating
inclusive culture to prevent biases and improper treatment on each other. It is a guideline for all to obey
and implement, also policies are to keep everyone connected and have a peaceful living. In education,
policies are carefully made so that the treatment of each students in a campus community are all fair and
child-friendly. This policies are helpful to create a living and healthy culture for students and the people
around it.

3. Who are the stakeholders and what are their roles in educational system?

Stakeholders are the one that insist that no right can exist without a corresponding governmental
obligation. In education, the term stakeholder typically refers to anyone who is invested in the welfare
and success of a school and its students which means they are the ones who implement policies and
manages rules and regulation for everyone to obey. This includes the teachers, faculty, staffs, government
officials, workers, parents and families. They guide students towards right path and success, with this they
can absolutely learn on how to be a better student. Stakeholders are very important because they are the
one who guides the students and build the community, without them we are all nothing. Stakeholders are
connecting what is taught to students and applies the learning to everyday life.
