20 Facts About The Human Body That Are Complete Myths (DM)
Sometimes, the coating gets torn, allowing the softer material to bulge out. The
result can be excruciating. The condition is commonly known as a ‘slipped disc’, but
this term is misleading.
Discs are tightly attached to the vertebrae and cannot physically ‘slip’ in any way.
This idea has a certain logic. If you put pressure on your joints habitually over a
lifetime, then it seems likely you’re going to do yourself some damage.
While their study of only 28 people was too small to be conclusive, no other
evidence has since emerged to link the habit with arthritis.
The characteristic ‘pop’ sound made when you crack your knuckles is due to tiny
bubbles collapsing in the luid of the joint as the pressure changes.

Alcohol is NOT safe for brain cells as it can lead to thiamine deficiency and serious brain diseases.
Very silly sub headline DM
That's all very well but what about hairs on the palm of your hand as the first sign of madness ?
Watching a monitor does make you see things differently. I need glasses now to watch the tv. This
is probably due to the pixels getting smaller the screen being hidef. My eyesight has deteriorated
due to screens.
Another common myth is that renaming a democratic referendum by calling it a people's vote,
people will be fooled into thinking it isn't about the bruised egos of the vote losing remoaners.
Too much sugar makes anyone hyper. It even comes on the back of certain sweets !
People like you make me despair. For once the DM has some truths in it. The section on
sugar quite clearly says that studies have shown sugar doesn't make (kids) hyper. Yet
you, Mister (?Miss) Expert states it does. Just because it's on the back of a sweet packet
doesn't make it true.

Could this guy have a word with themedical establishment in Sutton re alcohol and brain cells, they
try to use that as the reason for my neuropathy and PSP that began a few yeers back after a tick
infected me with Lyme disease down on the south coast. It isso myuch easier t ojoin in the chorus
of disapproval rather than find a cure before the brain start to rot with neurolyme
The author chose to simplify many of these "myths" - however a lot of them became "truths" due to
scriptwriters & parents telling us they were correct. Eye strain can be painful, knuckle cracking
constantly could cause tendonitis, long term alcohol use can cause strokes. Foot size is in
proportion to hand size I would say.
My favourite one as a small child was..don't put your finger in your belly button otherwise your bum
will fall off.

All the big drinkers I¿ve known are the ones that seem to have aged the most in their mid 50s and
are definitely more slow in their thinking
