SNS visits Mumbai CIDCO Package IV Housing Project

Mr. S. N. Subrahmanyan, CEO & MD, Larsen and Toubro, visited the CIDCO Project, Navi Mumbai on
03rd February 2021 accompanied by Mr. Shrikant Joshi, CEO & MD, L&T Realty and Mr. T. Sriraman,
Head – Residential Spaces BU. He was warmly welcomed by Mr. Divakaran O.V. (Task Force Leader of
CIDCO Housing Projects), Mr. Sunil Purushottam Kolhe (Project Director, Bamandongri), Mr. Bhosale
Vinayak Vilas Rao (Project Director, Taloja), Mr. Waghmare Rajabhau Pralhad (Project Director,
Kharkopar), Mr. Vasantha Kumar Ge (Project Director, Precast Yard) and the CIDCO project team.

SNS commenced his visit from the CIDCO Bamandongri site where he was briefed about the project
scope following which he was shown a mock-up flat, the TFL Office and the precast yard. He then met
all the functional heads, and while acknowledging the work completed stressed the importance of
timely completion of the project along with continuous revenue generation. He noted some of the
safety implementations at the site and requested the teams to constantly maintain the highest safety
levels. He felicitated SCOPE Award winners for January and presented the rolling trophy to the best
performing cluster.

He was appreciative of the functional precast design and detailing efforts, the Cloud based precast
App for real time tracking and BIM adoption at LOD 500 level that included reinforcement detailing
for automated GFC production drawings and the massive precast factory that was optimized for space
and usage of refurbished moulds to overcome logistics challenges caused by the pandemic and
thereby stay within the budget.

He highlighted the importance of using innovative techniques and digitalization in day-to-day site
operations for better productivity.
