Hand Tools - are important instruments in fishpond operation. Each hand tools are designed for
specific purposes.
1. Cutting, Pinching, and Gripping Tools - these are for cutting, pinching, and gripping purposes.
2. Striking Tools - the most widely used and abused tools. Chiseling, punching and riveting can
be done properly using striking tools
3. Driving Tools - these are designed to insert, tighten, loosen, remove, screws, bolts, nails, and
other pointed objects or hard turn by applying torque or rotational force.
4. Pliers - are a comparatively modern invention. These hand tools used for gripping objects
through leverage.
5. Wrench - is a hand tool often having a fixed or adjustable jaw used for gripping, turning,
fastening, tightening, and twisting or loosening objects such as nuts, bolts, or pipes and pipe
fittings.
6. Screwdrivers - are used for turning screws so as to drive them into their place.
