my appointment to meet him on the following day for Site Inspection. Meeting the Applicant at his/her
Field Office and interviewing them and asking them questions pertinent to mitigation Considerations,
Insurance Considerations, Environmental & Historic Preservation Considerations as stated on Site
Inspection Report. Visiting the location of damaged area, analyzing and accessing the damage,
documenting by taking pictures with Solocator (GPS Coordinates) on my FEMA I-phones, assessing
electrical/mechanical deficiencies caused by natural disasters to facilities, taking measurements of
damaged areas using tape and measuring wheel. After completing field work, having the Applicant sign
the bottom of Site Inspection Report to concur that we were in agreement of assessment of damage.
Returning back to FEMA field Office and inserting information from Site Inspector to Grants Manager.

Working as a Resident Engineer on MTA NYCT's ESI (Enhanced Station Improvement, $200 Million) Project
the Borough of Manhattan & Bronx. Overseeing General Contractor and his Sub Contractors in the field,
Coordinating deliveries of long lead items such as specialized as Digital Boards, lighting for Mezzanine and
Platform areas, WiFi, mechanical equipment, concrete, and new tilework. Documenting Contractor's daily
activities by writing extensive daily reports, processing payments by reviewing calculation books with
NYCT Auditor. Responsible for writing and justifying Change Orders, making all personnel have proper
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) on a daily basis. Reconstruction of (2) Escalators and Elevator at
Grand Central Station, Coordinating with NYCT E&E's department to access EDR and EPR Room, A&P to
access electrical equipment for power, signaling to coordinate shutdown and scheduling work with GC
and Subcontractors.

Thorough review of Partial Payment to confirm that Certified Payrolls for General Contractor and his
Subcontractors were attached with Partial Payment and signed and approved by appropriate individual.

contract drawings, specifications or contract changes.

As subcontractor for Program Manager and representative of PANYNJ, supervised geotechnical and
structural work required to install rock anchors to underpin Freedom Tower. Approximately 95% of heavy
civil work was completed in this phase. Keeping track of Submittals, Calculating quantities for Payments
from Daily Reports, Keeping correspondence trail of responding to RFI's as well as approved submittals,
tracking Change Orders and time extensions due to unforeseen field conditions or design omissions.
❖ Determined if work fully complied with construction drawings including depth of footings and
installation of R-bars, tie-backs, and forms; recommended improvements as necessary.
❖ Served as Employee-in-Charge during shutdown of electrical power for PATH trains to permit
construction within track area.
♦ Coordinated movement of workers on site with movement of trains, working with Trainmaster.
♦ Briefed workers on track safety; checked credentials of personnel on site to ensure security.
♦ Determined that all procedures were followed and checked.
❖ Verified that all control Inspections and tests required by Buildings Department(NYCDOB)were
performed and appropriately documented. TR-1 Filings for Fire Alarm were filed with FDNY and filing for
geotechnical, structural work was done accordance with NYC Building Code.

Ensured work was performed in accordance with contract documents, documentation of Contractor's
daily activities, along with his Subcontractors, design omissions were brought up to Architect's attention
and resolved at Progress Meetings, quality and standards of design and construction exceeded or met
requirements, budget was maintained, change orders were justified, and cost overruns were forecast
in sufficient time to adjust budget. Concrete and grouting testing results were in accordance with ACI
guidelines.
❖ Created CPM schedule using Primavera, Sure Track Project Manager 3.0.
❖ Managed two - three projects simultaneously including:
♦ 46-story, $55 million high-rise for student housing and luxury apartments, Manhattan Marymount
College
♦ 8-story, $42 million nursing home, Buena Vida Nursing Home. Installation of Emergency Generator and
Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) was installed, tested and signed off in compliance with NEC (National
Electrical Code).
♦ 90% completion of pre-schematic design phase of $500 million project, John Jay College of Criminal
Justice
❖ Directed installation of emergency netting and sidewalk shedding to make-safe facility due to
catastrophic events of 9/11.

International Airport, Newark, New Jersey
♦ Worked on Expansion of Terminal "C" for Continental Airlines, wrote structural stability Inspection
reports for Tenants who were based at the Airport, Tenants had to comply with Port Authority's guidelines
for maintaining their facilities such as baggage and cargo handling facilities, hangers for maintenance
of Airplanes, food processing services for airlines.
♦ Inspected tracks for the monorail after performing electrical shutdown of various stations during off-
peak hours of operation, Inspected resurfacing of multiple runways at the airport. Assisted in design and
supervision of multiple stories Parking facilities at Newark International Airport.
