1. 2G Fiber connection on 1st ABIA after ASIA.
2. 2G Fiber connection starting from left
3. All WCDMA RFs to be connected physically to same ABIA within same subrack- RP002075 Support for
configuration with WCDMA radio modules connected to two ABIAs This feature is planned for
SRAN18SP release.
4. LTE RFs Fiber to be connected from right side (No. of Fibers / RFM is decided 1 or 2 based on the
chosen RF Cell set)

5. 2G site with configurations more than 36 TRX will add 2nd SBTS.
6. 2 SBTS will require 2 physical transmission links with 2 site IDs if 2G TRX greater than 36 TRX.
7. No need for 2nd transmission link if 3G/4G only on 2nd SBTS.
8. Same rules for 2nd SBTS 2G on fist ABIA after ASIA /fiber connection starting from left .
9. 3G to be connected on same ABIA per SBTS (SRAN17A guidelines).
10. On 2nd SBTS if its only 3G/LTE RFs to be connected physically on the 2nd ABIA if its only 2 & 3rd ABIA if
3 ABIAs are installed .

11. 1 ABIA has 4 DSPs.

12. Less than or equal 24 TRX requires 1 DSP for 2G.
13. For 3G 1 LCG requires 2 DSPs & 2 LCG requires 4 DSPs .
14. For 2G/3G Mixed Mode all RFs to be connected physically to same ABIA.
15. For 3G/4G Mixed Mode all RFs to be connected physically to same ABIA.
