Direction: Now that you, as BECED students, are already aware of these concerns of

multiage teachers, share your ideas by answering the following questions on what ways you
may be able to help the multiage teachers around.
1.What support would you like multiage teachers in your place:
a. to overcome their feelings of loneliness?
For me because it's not easy to become a multi-grade teacher I want to help
and support them by requesting to the office of education to give them a few days
longer to visit their family and friends every week for them to have fun and rest
because they choose to go in far place without their family and without knowing
anyone because that is their job but to support them I want to give them a longer time
and days to spend with their families and friends and also conduct a simple
government-funded activity for them and to the community for them to overcome their
feeling of loneliness.
b. to get facilities and materials?
I wish that the government give more attention and fund to the facilities and
materials for the multi-grade teacher her in our place because it can cause a lot of
problem to the knowledge of a child when there is no proper facility for their class and
absence of material that they need to develop the skills of a child.
c. for professional improvement?
For me to support the professional improvement of the multi-grade teacher
her in our place I wish that the department of education conduct a seminars/webinars
or training for the multi-grade teacher to develop more their skills in teaching the
different grade children because it’s hard to handle many grade level at the same
time and as a multi-grade teacher it will be helpful for them to give them ideas and
strategies that they can use in teaching children.

2.What can you share to the class of a multiage teacher when you visit him/her in the
school? Why?
For me as a future educator, the one thing that I can share when I visit a class
of a multi-grade teacher is all my experiences when I was just a student. As an
educator, our job doesn't end up with just teaching the children letters and numbers
but rather inspire and motivate them by all of our experience when we were just like
them because it has a lot of impact and lesson that they can be learned for them to
strive more and give all of their best in school. We all know that experience of
everyone is the best that we can share with every child of the future, why? Simple
because we want them to be guild and get them on the right path where they can
lead them to the brighter side of this life which is to become successful. Nowadays,
especially now that is pandemic it was very sad to hear that poverty, early pregnancy
and other problem of society is the one reason and cause to be disappearing and
vanishing of the dreams of every child and now that we are in this part of life which
we are already facing the reality we want to share our experience to inspire and
motivate the children because sharing is caring.
