PNEUMATIC DE-ICER BONDING TESTER CONSOLE

INTRODUCTION

Testing the bonding quality and the leaks of a Pneumatic De-Icer is

an operation that will benefit greatly in efficiency and quality with
SACHA SA9501 Console.
It has been conceived as a self consistent console which integrates
high quality pressure control instruments with a design that allows
easy operations with the accuracy it was not possible to achieve
previously with traditional assembly of pipes, hoses and
manometers..

GENERAL FEATURES

• Simultaneous test of 2 circuits: provision is made to connect two hoses to test in parallel two circuits,
• Digital pressure sensing: an electronic circuit measures and displays numerically the pressure of the inflated
circuits,
• Inflating pressure control: a pneumatic controller guarantees a pressure at the setting as specified by the
manufacturer with a high accuracy independently of variations on the main input stream,
• Flow control with safety: the system is conceived to achieve a regular air flow control to inflate smoothly the de-
icer without risk of bursting it out of pressure limit,
• Highly accurate control: a precision instrument guarantees a very precise control whatever the variations of the
input pressure,
• Leak test with alarm monitoring: a low-level pressure setting can be programmed, and an audible and visual alarm
is given in case of leak,
• Leak test high sensitivity: very stringent specifications can be held due to the high quality of digital circuits,
• Timing control on setting: it is possible to maintain the boots at a certain pressure during a certain time before
venting,
• Ambient temperature display: always useful as an indication for bonding operations,
• Vacuum pump integrated: a compressed air vacuum pump is proposed optionally as a very useful help during
operation of bonding or to examine bonding quality,
• Compact size: all instruments and connections gathered in a truly portable console.

The Sacha Console has been designed to comply with the usual stringent specifications of the manufacturers of de-icers.
These specifications are in term of pressure control precision, flow rate, pressure setting.
According to the customer order, the equipment is delivered configured in the °Celsius or Psi version.
