On behalf of Saskatchewan Labor Force Development Board, Business Co-Chair, I would like to welcome you to the
Skills Canada provincial competition. My welcome is also focused from a community base. You are visiting my
home community of Prince Albert and there will be fellow employees and friends who will be supporting you or
helping you within the Skills Canada events.
I want to recognize each of you as participants within the Skills Canada events and recognize you for your dedication
and commitment to your career interest. As you actively work to achieve your objective during the competition, you
are building your own capacity for the future. You are taking a challenge and using your critical thinking skills, your
mechanical or artistic aptitude to achieve success. As the Business Co-chair, I applaud your tenacity and your focus
towards building skills and competencies. Learning and experiencing is a continuous process.
