1. Etiolation is the morphological adaptations for growing in
darkness. Example for this is the pale stem, unexpanded
leaves or short roots. However, de-etiolation or greening is
the changes that a plant shoot undergoes in the presence of
sunlight. Stems elongate, leave expand or shoots produce
