Analisis Kelayakan Usaha Pembuatan Yoghurt Di Perusahaan Dafarm Kecamatan Ciampea Kabupaten Bogor
ABSTRACT
Yoghurt is one of milk product which has some advantage. Containing of calorie,
protein, carbohydrate, calcium, and potassium in yoghurt is higher than milk (Tamime and
Robinson, 1989). Yoghurt has a good potency to be developed. Data of export and import
yoghurt in Indonesia shows the quantities of import is more than export. Import yoghurt in
2008 is 734.985 kilograms, whereas quantities of export is 234.985 kilograms (Department of
Industry and Trade, 2009). It is indicate that the need of yoghurt in Indonesia is higher than
local produce. Dafarm is one of cattle which process milk become yoghurt in Bogor. Research
aims are to identify feasibility analysis of Dafarm. Analysis of feasibility consist of non financial
aspect and financial aspect. Non financial aspect explain about markets aspect, technics aspect,
management aspect, law aspect, and also social-environment aspect. This study used
descriptive, qualitative and quantitative analysis. This study conducted on October until
November 2009 at Dafarm. Dafarm start the business since 2007. The result of study showed
that non financial analysis are feasible. The financial analysis of Dafarm consist of two scenario:
present production condition and maximum production condition. The first scenario of
financial analysis show NPV IDR 169.633.979,00, IRR 45 percent, Payback Period 3,094 years,
and Net B/C 3,00. The second scenario of financial analysis show NPV IDR 247.090.769,00, IRR
63 percent, Payback Period 2,50 years, and Net B/C 4,00. Analysis of switching value indicates
that the first scenario has more responsive than the second scenario. Decreasing sales volume of
Dafarm has more influence of feasibility if we compare with increasing operational cost.
