Analysis

The speaker is Chimamanda Adichie who is speaking of her


S experiences and stories that line up with the message that she
is pushinging in the background, she is also the storyteller.

The author lived in Nigeria her whole life.

She never had to talk about the weather.
She had moved to America.
People are believing a stereotypical Africa in which they are
also primitive in their nature, yet in Africa, people are fighting
to bring African culture into literature.

She is telling a story meant for anyone who will listen, but to be
