Introduction
For this Portfolio, I will be presenting the four major topics that I have learned in
applied calculus. Before taking this class, I was just finishing pre calculus and I
had some basic knowledge on how to do simple calculations.

M2- Optimization

Conclusion
After taking this course, I have grown and learned a TON as a student. I learned
the importance of having a good base to build off on when it comes to the
foundation of calculus. Additionally, I believe that math is always around! The Ted
Talks that we watched caused me to have a different perspective on math and its
beauty! Now, I have a good start with the basics of calculus and I will be building
on this foundation as I enter college and take more rigorous math courses.
Advice
My advice for you is to really take your time to practice and learn the material that
you are being taught. The topics that we learn do build off of eachother and it is
vital to understand what you are doing. Also, practice really does make perfect!
The more problems you do correctly, the better you will be for the quizzes and
tests! You got this:)! Good luck!
