RECAP
In the past lessons we discussed adjectives and adverbs, right?

1. What are adjectives?

Adjectives are words used to describe nouns or pronouns.

2. How about adverbs? Adverbs on the other hand describe adjectives, verbs
or another adverb.

So adverbs and adjectives are both descriptive words. They are used
in description specially in evaluating.

LESSON

In making comments, feedbacks, or evaluation after watching a drama, it is

very important that you have a wide array of descriptive words to be more specific
and detailed in your statement. How you put it may be reflective of how attentive
and wise of an audience you have been.

What Is Evaluation?

Evaluation is the making of a judgement or comment about something. It

simply means assessing the value or worth of something.

Why Do Evaluate?

We evaluate to help identify areas for improvement. It helps improve our

writing and communication skills. The evaluation we give allows us better
communicate ourselves to impact others.

What are the ways and words in which we can give our evaluation?

Our evaluation can be positive or negative. It is important to be specific with

our comments so that one will know his strengths and weaknesses.
Descriptive words like adjectives and adverbs are used in giving evaluation.

Look at the following pictures. Are you familiar with them? Will you describe
them in terms of their acting prowess?
