Dear Friends,

This year has been a wild ride to say the least! Through shields,
masks, cohorts, distance learning, and zoom calls- every single one
of you showed up, smiled and tried your very best each day. How
amazing are you?! I created this book to say thank you to YOU- my
wonderful students! Thank you for making my heart happy
throughout this CRAZY year. I am the luckiest teacher on earth to
have been able to teach YOU. Tarzan’s mother said it best- “You’ll
be here in my heart, always.”

Have a FABULOUS summer- you deserve it! I wish you all the best in
second grade.

 Any time I had the pleasure of seeing
Erick’s face under his mask, he was
ALWAYS smiling! A big, bright, beautiful
smile! Through the good and the bad, Erick
kept smiling. I could not be prouder of him
and his positive spirit. Erick- good luck in
second grade and NEVER STOP SMILING! J
 Rose is fun, fashionable, and of course-
FANCY! Whether it be singing, dancing,
reading, writing, or math- Rose knows how to
make it fancy! This girl is sweet, sassy, and she
as smart as they come! How could you not
adore her? I am so proud of you, Rose. I know
you will SHINE in second grade.

Do you have a question about animals? Well Leo is your

guy! Leo is a SUPER reader and especially knows about
marine life and sharks. Maybe one day Leo will have his
own TV show like the Wild Kratts! Whatever job Leo has in
the future, whether it be a TV Superstar, Zookeeper, or
marine biologist, I know he will be SO successful. Good
luck in second grade Leo and never stop learning about
animals!

Whether it is a math lesson in our classroom or

a soccer game out on the field, Keegan is an
ALL-STAR! Keegan has many talents, and I am
so proud of him! Also, Keegan knows how to
make everyone in our class smile and laugh.
Good luck next year, Keeg! I know you will be
an all-star second grader too!
 Need a hand? Cash is your guy! Since the first day of
school, Cash has always been a SUPER HELPER! He
offers to clean up, plug in our devices, hold the door,
and pass out papers daily. Cash was such an asset to
our classroom and an overall joy to be around. Good
luck next year, Cash! Your second-grade teacher is so
lucky to have you.

Sportsmanship: (noun) fair and generous behavior or

treatment of others, especially in a sports contest.

Not only is Ricky a team player out on the soccer and

baseball fields, but he is a team player in the classroom too!
Ricky plays a fair game and treats everyone he meets with
kindness. I am so proud of him and his SUPER SPORTSMANSHIP!
Second grade is SO lucky to have you on their TEAM! Good

If you need something, Jordyn is there! Jordyn is
the first person to offer to give something away,
help a friend, or take care of you when you are
down. Not only is she generous with her things,
but she is generous with her kindness too- she
spreads it all around like confetti! Our classroom
would not be the same without our
#GenerousJordy. Good luck in second grade!
 Not only is Boyd talented on the field, but he is
VERY talented in the classroom too! Boyd is a
SUPER reader, writer and mathematician. I am
amazed by how smart he is! I know Boyd will be
an even more amazing student and athlete next
year. Good luck in second grade. They are so
lucky to have you!
Mauricio is our #WorkerBee! Since the start of
the schoolyear, Mau has been such a hard
worker! Thank you, Mau, for always doing
your best, making great choices, and sharing
your kind heart with our class. I am SO proud
of the student and person you are. Second

I think the whole class can agree that Ema is an

AMAZING artist! Ema’s drawings are always
colorful and creative! Maybe one day she will be
a famous artist or even an art teacher. Ema is
sweet, smart, and now a SECOND GRADER! Get

Since the first day of school, Alexa has been a SUPER

STORYTELLER! Her stories are always creative and have TONS
of details. Alexa is a natural author! I hope to see Alexa
publish a book some day! When she is not busy being a
super writer, Alexa is also a FABULOUS reader, friend,
gymnast, and twin sister. I am so proud of you Alexa! You
are going to be BRILLIANT in second grade. I cannot wait to
read the stories you come up with in the future!
 No matter what we are doing, Rocco always has the
best attitude about it! Thank you, Rocco for always
lifting us up and having an #AWESOMEATTITUDE! I can
always count on Rocco to make me smile and laugh
too! Also, I could not be prouder of the growth Rocco
has made this year. How AMAZING is he? It was an
absolute JOY having Rocco in our class. Good luck in
second grade and never lose that #AwesomeAttitude
of yours!
Need a good laugh? Tommy is your guy! Tommy knows
just how to make the whole class smile and laugh.
Tommy is a great friend and is always there to cheer
someone up when they are down. I am so proud of you
and everything you have achieved this year, Tommy.

Piper is a #SuperSweetStudent! Everyday she comes

into class, smiles and tries her very best! She is sweet to
