population. (implied) I choose that sentences because, that’s paragraph talking
about population getting older. So companies that do work to meet the special
needs of the elderly.
2. A. The elderly people in industrialized countries are often depressed because of
loneliness. (stated) I choose that because, the first sentence in paragraph is talking
about that, so the main idea is on the first sentence of paragraph.

1. B. The new folding electric car has many advantages over regular cars. (implied)
Because on that paragraph is talking about the advantages of electric cars.
2. A. Inspite of the risks, some people do not wear seat belts. (stated) Because the
paragraph above is explains that using a seat belt can reduce the risk of injury and
death while driving.
3. C. Italy’s roads are the most crowded in the world. (stated) Because it written on the
first sentences so that’s the main idea of that paragraph.
