Journal Week 3

November 3, 2020

Tuesday, I'm writing and learning about “ pre-writing strategies ”. Before that, my online class
started at 11 a.m until 1p.m but Madam Durga finished online class at 12:30 p.m because she
was unwell. I hope you recover soon Madam . Besides that, during the online class all my
classmates are less talkative and quiet maybe because now is the rainy and cold season so
they are less passionate and sleepy including me . Back to the topic, Madam Durga explained
about pre-writing in online classes . What i learn and understand about pre-writing strategies is
the first stage of the writing process and helps us discover our initial ideas about a subject and
put them on paper, though not usually in organized form . After that, Madam Durga gave us the
exercise about my parents and gave us 20 minutes to do the exercise . After everyone has
finished the exercise, Madam Durga reads all the answers one by one at google classroom . I
feel nervous and excited when my name was mentioned by Madam Durga and i got ⅗ points for
the exercise. It's okay, I will try my best again .

Wednesday, I was late to enter the online class Madam Durga because of internet problems
and coincidentally at that time my internet quota had run out . Aside from that, Madam told us to
make an essay about “ things that you would like to share good or bad memories of during your
secondary school ” and submit it on Friday at 11 p.m . Not only that, Madam Durga also told us
to do the task given on October 28 . The task is about adverbs . In addition to this, I also got an
email from Madam about articles .

Thursday, first of all for today me and my classmates do not know if there’s an online class or
not but Madam Durga sent a youtube link in the group class and told everyone to watch the
story in the video first . Moreover, the video’s title is “ Lamb to the Slaughter ”. In Addition to
that, Madam told us to divide into five people in one group to do the assignment later .
