When someone is seriously ill or in the hospital, it is up to
family members to notify Fr. Grubba or the Parish Office,
(920) 295-6209 or (920) 293-4211, and their names will be
listed in the bulletin the next week so that they may be
remembered with prayers and letters. This week I would
ask that you remember…Shut-ins of the parish. CCW BAKE SALE
SATURDAY & SUNDAY (July 3 & 4)
The CCW will hold a bake sale the weekend of July 3 & 4.
Anyone who wishes to bring in some baked goods for the sale to
help out the CCW are most appreciated. Come and check out all the
goodies that the CCW has to offer.

ST. JAMES “MINI FEST”


SUNDAY (August 8) - 10:00 AM – 2:00 pm
St. James will host a picnic this year (called the “St. James
Mini Fest”) on Sunday, August 8.
Festivities will start on the grounds after the 9:30 AM Mass
and will conclude at 2:00 PM with the big raffle drawing.
There will NOT be a dinner this year, but we will have hot
ham sandwiches, hamburgers and brats and beverages. The
big tent will be set up and under that we will have kids’ games,
adult games, pull tabs and the silent auction. Additionally, we
will have a bake sale on the grounds.
A picnic meeting was recently held with the lead members of
the picnic committee. The people who volunteered to help with
the picnic will soon be getting a phone call with further
information. Stay tuned for more updates.

VOLUNTEER NEEDED
Our Parish office is in need of a volunteer to work for at least
two hours one day a week (typically working from 9:00 AM to
11:00 AM). This person would answer the phone and may
perform a variety of clerical related tasks. Knowledge of
computers (especially Windows 10) and Microsoft Office
programs (such as Word and Excel) or any past secretarial
experience would be a big plus, but is not required.

SCHOLARSHIP FOR ST. JAMES PARISH CHILDREN


St. James Parish offers tuition scholarships for 5K-8 at
All Saints Catholic School in Berlin and 50% tuition coverage for
Lourdes Academy in Oshkosh for all active, contributing
members of St. James Parish. A signed agreement is required
and assistance is available for up to 7 students at this time
pending yearly policy review.
