2 Effect of varying rates of organo-mineral on growth parameter of capsicum annuum at

different weeks after sowing.
Application of fertilizer has no effect on the value of plant height (Table 4.2) capsicum
annuum 5WAS, application of 20kgN/ha it has observed that T3 had the highest value significant
of plants height with value 25.83. This value is not significantly different from all other treatment
while T4 had the least.(Table 4.2). 6WAS, application of 40kgN/ha it has observed that T1 had the
highest value significant of plant height with value 26.83. This value is not significantly different
from all other treatment while control had the least. (Table 4.2). 7WAS, application of 60kgN/ha it
has observed that T1 had the highest value significant of plant height with value 33.00. This value
is not significantly different from all other treatment while T5 had the least. (Table 4.2) 8WAS and
9WAS, application of 80kgN/ha and 100kgN/ha it has observed that had the highest value
significant of plant height with value, this value is not significantly different from all other
treatment while T5 had the least. (Table 4.2). Application of fertilizer has no effect on the value of
number of leaves of capsicum annuum at all weeks (Table 4.3)

4.3 Yield parameters of capsicum annuum under different fertilizer treatment

Application of fertilizer had no significantly different on value of number of nodules of
capsicum annuum (Table 4.4). Application of T1 (20kgN/ha-1) had significantly hower value of
fresh root weight, but not significantly different from application of T3 (60kgN/ha-1), T5
(100kgN/ha-1) and control. While T4 (80kgN/ha-1) had significantly least of fresh root weight
(Table 4.4). All treatment applied has no value of dry shoot weight, fresh shoot weight and dry
root weight.

4.4 Nutrient uptake of capsicum annuum under different fertilizer application

Application 20kgN/ha of organo-mineral increase P, Na, Cu, Mn and Zn uptake s. The (Table
4.5) N-uptake was observed in T2,T3,T4, and T5 while control had the least value of nutrient
uptake, highest O-uptake value was observed in T1,T2,T3,T4, and T5 while control had the value
of O-uptake (Table 4.5). Application of T2 and T3 increase O-uptake while control had the least
value of O-uptake (Table 4.5) Application of T3 increase Ca-uptake, while the control had the
least, Application of T2 increase Mg-uptake T3 had highest value of Fe uptake while the least
value was observed at T1.

CHAPTER FIVE
CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION
Application of varying level of organo-mineral fertilizer has no significant effect on growth,
but significant differences we're observed in Yield and nutrients uptake improved performance of
capsicum annuum and soil quality. Nutrient uptake particularly N,P and K were also significantly
enhance 20-100kgN/ha of organo-mineral application of organo-mineral at the recommended N-
rate of 80kgN/ha for improved performance of capsicum annuum in the study area. Option of this
organic fertilizer type will also improved soil organic matter content as well as soil bio-physico-
chemical properties of the soil in the study area, where top soil is severely missing and the
essential nutrient are grossly low.
